Go Wild!

WildSalmonRecipes.com is a project of members of the Waterkeeper Alliance ®. Waterkeeper is an international alliance of grassroots organizations dedicated to swimmable, drinkable, fishable waters.

Waterkeeper groups on the Pacific coast of North America have raised concerns for years that salmon farming as it is presently done poses grave risks—not only for our oceans and wild fish, but for the communities and creatures that depend on them.

We created this site to help you celebrate our coastal legacy through the wild fish that sustain its ecosystems.

Please ask your retailer to demand truly sustainable seafood! Send an email and stand up for Pacific salmon!

For guidelines on buying sustainable salmon—along with just about every other seafood— visit the Monterey Bay Aquarium’s Seafood Watch site or SeaChoice.

This site was created by Fraser Riverkeeper, whose territory includes the largest wild salmon-producing river in the world. The videos on the site were funded in part by Vancouver Foundation and in part by concerned citizens.
